Born in 1995, Anastasia Mattingley is a London-based artist, whose work explores the beauty of people and places through detailed portraiture and expressive landscapes. She specialises in oil painting, and drawing using ink and graphite.
Her artistic ability was first recognised in nursery and nurtured through an A-Level in Art, before she pursued a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Neuroscience.
Now working in Analysis & Research, Anastasia continues to paint as a way to connect observation with emotion, capturing the quiet moments, vibrant colours and sense of place found in the landscapes she’s travelled through. Her work reflects both precision and sensitivity, shaped by a lifelong fascination with how we see and remember the world.
